palak pakora

palak pakora is a very healthy and nutritious snack cooked in all regions of India specially during rainy season. its an favourite tea time snack.

Ingredients:
1 cup chopped spinach(palak)
1/2 cup besan(gram flour)
2tsp rice flour
1/4cup chopped onion
3 chopped green chillies
3tsp chopped coriander
2tsp chopped curry leaves
1/2tsp dhania powder
1tsp cumin powder
1/2tsp red chilli powder
1/4tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
1/4tsp amchoor powder
1tsp ajwain
1tsp salt
a pinch of soda
oil for deep frying

Method:
In a bowl mix all the ingredients mentioned above with very less water.
The batter should be thick and sticky.
Now heat oil in a deep frying pan and drop spinach and besan flour mixture in the form of a pakodas and fry till nice golden color.
serve hot with tomato kethcup.
